Here at Alexandra’s Fur Babies, we are most passionate about the welfare needs of your dogs and provide a service in which dogs can have a fulfilled day, allowing you to leave home knowing your dog has been properly cared for in your absence.
We are committed to providing your dogs with new experiences and
ensuring they have been both mentally and physically exercised to fully enhance their dog walking experience with Alexandra’s Fur Babies.
We understand dogs require more than just physical exercise to truly fulfil their needs, which is why our walks are packed full of fun games, love, fuss, treat and toy based activities, aswell as them getting plenty of environmental enrichment, and exercise in a variety of different locations including riverside, lakes, enclosed fields, woodlands, parks and countryside walks.
You will be provided with updates photos/videos of their walks so you can see them having the best time on their adventures!
We offer a range of dog walking services, including daily walks, adhoc walks, solo and group walks, home visits and more. We also offer specialised services for puppies and senior dogs.
We take a personalised approach to dog walking and pet care. And understand that every dog is unique and has their own needs and preferences. That's why we take time in the complimentary meet and greet to understanding your dogs motivations and personality, so we can ensure your dog is having the most fulfilled walk for their individual needs. Our group walks are carefully selected, dogs are integrated cautiously, and paired together by their play styles and temperaments, always ensuring they are happy within each other’s company.
Your dog will be picked up in a purpose built van, safely kennelled, each section large enough for two medium size dogs, although if your dog is of single pet household, they will have a whole section to themselves. They are always able to turn around, stretch out and allow them to lye down whilst being transported. Safety is always a priority for pets in our care which is why all kennels have safety hatches to allow access in an emergency. For our more nervous travellers, your pets‘ area can be sprayed with the all natural calming pet spray “Pet Calm” , “Pet Calm Bandanas” can also be used, aswell as enrichment toys and activities, to ensure your pets relaxed state of mind whilst travelling. Whilst on their walk, clean water will be provided and biodegradable poobags will be used to pick up after them. Dogs will be showered and fox poo shampoo used if needed, towel dried and have their paws checked before returning them home.
